 About Treats By Gale:

Gale King has found her passion making life a little sweeter through her baked treats. 

She is the owner of Treats by Gale LLC, a  company specializing in scones, tea breads, cookies and brownies.  Gale is from a large Barbadian family in which good food is as important as laughter.  As a child, she helped the older women prepare traditional favorites like Caribbean Great Cake and Coconut Bread. These fond memories are recaptured daily with the aroma and taste of her baked treats.   

Gale, a former Information Technology professional, used baking as a release from the stresses of her job. The encouragement of family, friends and co-workers prompted her to begin a part time business, baking for small parties. In 2004, out of the desire to be financially independent while being more available to her children, she took advantage of the opportunity to expand her business.  Through her business she inspires other women to recognize the potential within them and encourages each to go after their dreams. 

Today, Treats by Gale LLC is in the business of making people feel good.  She does this through the taste of a chocolate chip cookie and the warmth felt at an unexpected gift. Customized LOGO cookies are a favorite item for her business and specialty clients.  Her client list includes prestigious Theatres and Hotels in the Washington,DC Metropolitan area.
